About this site

The main objective for this site is to give an unbiased opinion on certain topics pertaining to guitars. I have a passion for vintage guitars and love sharing information about them. Through the years researching these facts has not always been easy. Often I end up having to defend myself to old timers that refuse to let go of out dated information, most of which were urban legends. Many items I discovered over the years have become 'common knowledge'. However, I do see that while the information age has graced us with the ability to communicate more efficiently, old urban legends still like to pop up and once out in numbers, they are accepted as fact once again. So my page tries to sort out such things before being published. Even many of the vintage guitar magazines out there don't do that anymore (like how the history of Charvel guitars was hacked in print by a big time author more interested in quantity of articles than quality of content).

You will probably notice right off the bat my site is very plain. It is like this for many reasons. First, when I do feel compelled to work on it, I would rather invest the time into adding information rather than fancy graphics. The other reason is I have very basic web page building skills. Maybe someday I will hire someone to polish it up, but I think right now most of you are interested in info over eye candy.

So, that is it. Enjoy the site and let me know if I can ever help out in any way.
